She’s fast. Nearly as fast as Wonder Woman and as she strikes out at him he suddenly remembers that the Amazons are a bit faster than he’s remembered. Moving quickly he dodges the attack by an inch, not bothering fighting back or countering as of yet.
He was testing her and some part of her got angry over it. She knew better, logically she knew better but that temper, that temper that was so much a part of Cassie as her hair or her eyes was starting to get the better of her. She clamped it as she struck out again, seeking a weakness. Going for another punch for his jaw. Even if her logic sensors told her otherwise, she was going in to win. That was the warriors way.
She’s getting angry, that is evident enough to Sinestro as he reaches up the grab at Cassie’s wrist to stop her punch. That is never a good thing, fighting in anger makes you sloppy. He doesn’t use his ring, not. Instead he brings his knee up to hit her in the stomach in hopes of forcing her to slow down and consider her opponent a bit more carefully than simply charging in like a bull.
stephwillspoilyou replied to your post: Text: CASSIE! Dire totally important question. What DVDs do you want, but not have?
[Text] The most importante hermana! Wait, did you because we should watch that and okay GoT. Gotcha!
[text] yeah I totally just found it, Bart stashed it behind my Repo…
[text] yessss THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK.
Tim and Kon would probably rag on him for wearing a girls hoodie, but that never stopped him before. He always thought it sucked that the girls never got enough merchandise treatment. “Put it on me mama! I’ll wear it 24/7!”
Let them rag, she would love him for it. Grinning from ear to ear she hugged him again, “I’m going to wear it for a couple days!” She had a feeling it would fast become one of her favorite articles of clothing. Snapping her finger she moved to her bag and pulled out the camera Tim had given her. “Okay squeeze in.. make a face, make it worth it.” She set her head against Bart’s and pulled a face, that was just how it worked.

She gave him a loud kiss on the cheek before she went into his closet and pulled out the green lantern t-shirt she’d gotten him ages ago. “Awww, you still have it! Do you still have the superboy one?” Super hero swag, Cassie tended to buy a lot of it just for laughs. But she’d become a collector of hoodies because of it.
Bart laughed, rubbing his cheek with the back of his hand as he watched his friend go through his closet. “Haha, yeah. It’s on the top. I don’t wear it much though.”
“Conner doesn’t need anymore excuses.” She tilted her head back to him, giving him a bright smile as she dug out the superboy t-shirt, looking up at him. “I remember when I couldn’t wear your clothes. Cover your eyes,” she said before she took off her soaking wet shirt and pulled on the dry one, letting out a sigh. It felt nice.
“He can be good…” Tim desperately wanted to believe that for himself. The man that saw him as a pretender didn’t often show him that side, but someone who had been a part of that same legacy, they couldn’t be completely bad. It was the not completely good side that gave him doubts of course. He gave an unamused laugh. “Okay, funny is debatable, I can’t really argue about the rest….”
He looked into her eyes and tried to smile for her. “You’re important to me too, Cassie. You know you are. And Jason, he’s just… Look, the guy’s a mess and I don’t want him dragging you down.” Tim caught her wrist and held it softly. “Look, you’re my best friend. You’ve been with me through this more than most people. I just want the best for you, okay?” He honestly did, no matter what, want her to be happy. If it ended up being with Jason, well, he’d just learn to live with that.
She knew that Jason was a good guy, there was nothing in her mind that told her otherwise. He was, special, important, and she was becoming painfully attached to him. There wasn’t anything that was going to stop that, and she was aware of it. Though Tim’s laugh, had her frowning at him. If anyone could get her to think long and hard about her decisions it was Tim.
When he looked into her eyes, a part of her stalled. This person was more important to her than anyone, was she compromising that? His comment had her sighing, because he wasn’t wrong. “Lets face it, Tim, everyone I love is a mess.” The reply was a murmur, moving her hand into his since he had her wrist, head coming to rest against his shoulder. “We’ve been through hell together and come out on the other side. I know that, and I know you want what is best..” But she wanted what was best for him too, she just, didn’t know what that was. She thought about his words long and hard, “He can take care of me, Tim.. how many people can take care of me instead of me taking care of them all the time other than you?”

“Shocked? Me too… really I freaked out.”
“He made me a cake! Did you see it?”
